PostgreSQL today and tomorrow
With Magnus Hagander
This talk will look at some of the most noticeable new features in PostgreSQL 8.2 (released December 2006), and will also take a sneak-peak into the CVS repository of what will eventually become PostgreSQL 8.3 (tentatively scheduled to enter beta in May 2007).
Magnus Hagander is a developer in the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. He's one of the primary developers behind the native Win32 port, lead developer of the Windows Installer, and generally works on integration features. He also helps out with the infrastructure behind postgresql.org. His daytime is mostly spent administering servers and networks in Sollentuna.
