This talk is about the (alternative) paths taking for utilizing all database capabilities of postgresql when designing and building a NMS (network monitoring system) from scratch. The hope is that people will get inspired by the tools and methods presented here.
Nicolai Petri is 29 years old and head of development in catpipe systems. He is married with kids. He is the architect behind the d-mon network monitoring product - besides that he currently focus on making life easier for developers by providing better frameworks.
