Præsentationen vil omhandle HP Control Tower, som er en Linux baseret applikation til installation og administration af Linux servere i et HP Blade miljø.
Det vil blive gennemgået, hvorledes op til tusind Linux servere kan administreres fra en enkelt Linux baseret administrations server. Følgende emner vil blive behandlet:
- Grundlæggende Blade teknologi
- Installation af HP Control Tower
- Deployment af Linux servere
- Administration af Linux servere
Karsten Elgaard Sørensen joined HP (Digital Equipment Corp.) in February 1985 as a software consultant.
Karsten has a deep working knowledge with a number of the operating systems and among those especially Linux. Besides the knowledge of operating systems, Karsten also has solid working experience with networking software and protocols and he delivery an in-depth technical analysis of customers complete IT environment with recommendations that assist the customers in achieving operational optimization and effectiveness.
Working tasks have been both national as well as international. Before joining Digital Equipment Corp. Karsten worked 2 years as a System Administrator and software developer.

Redhat Certified Technician
HP Solution Architect.
