AMD64 Compiler Ecosystem
With Hervé Chevanne.
Mr Chevanne will first review some of the mostly used compilers for the AMD64™ architecture available on Linux operating systems; describing their main characteristics and providing useful compilation flag sets. Then, he will present the AMD Core Math Library features and performances. Finally, Mr Chevanne will give recommendations and tips on how to maximize the use of the AMD Opteron™ processor based systems at best.
Hervé Chevanne
Hervé Chevanne, own a degree of "Docteur Ingénieur" in Conputation Fluid Dynamic from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France. He worked for several system vendors in the domain of High Performance Computing, including Convex Computers, Silicon Graphics/SGI and Cray Computers before joining the AMD Global Solution Team as Application Engineer for the Opteron processor platform.
