Linux OnDemand - the open, flexible infrastructure
Over the last 4 years IBM has made the most significant investments in the industry to make Linux and Open Source a viable, strategic choice for our customers and partners. In 2004 Linux is more popular than ever before continuing it's triumph. In the process Linux has also become a strategic technology for IBM itself. In addition to a large scale internal IBM Linux project we have made OpenSource a key technology and a cornerstone of our onDemand strategy.
The presentation is an update of where IBM sees the newly established 'Linux industry' is going and a discussion of how Linux enables the potential of an onDemand approach with a look into how IBM itself is taking advantage of Linux.
