Kalle Dalheimer

In my talk, I will present the new features in the (by the time of the conference hopefully released) latest version of the KDE Desktop Environment, KDE 3.

This includes the vastly improved email client which has an entirely new security architecture, further extended theming, a new application for instant messaging, and many other interesting things. I will also show some of the newer features in the KOffice suite.

About Kalle Dalheimer

A native German, Kalle has emigrated into the deep forests of Värmland (Sweden) where he is President and CEO of Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB, a company specializing in cross-platform software development (with an emphasis on porting from Windows to Linux), developer training, and technical documentation. Kalle is one of the founding members of the KDE project where he works on KOffice, various odds and ends and does a lot of evangelizing.
