About Eric S. Raymond
Eric S. Raymond is a wandering anthropologist and troublemaking
philosopher who happened to be in the right place at the right time,
and has been wondering whether he should regret it ever since.
Eric S. Raymond is one of the legends in the Open Source arena, due to
his essays explaining
the decentralized and open model of software development through the
internet starting with the classical essay "The
Cathedral and the Bazaar". Eric S. Raymond has
also worked as one of the main drivers behind the Open Source revolution and
before that he has written many programs which - of course - happen to
be Open Source.
